Well designed SCOs can help your students master difficult topics. Having the grades placed directly in the grade book gives your students incentive to keep trying until they get it right. The Addition of Ordinates SCO illustrated above has changed the success rate in my classes on that topic from about 50% to nearly 100% on exams.
